Your data, your choice
The free calculator works without an account. Its inputs are processed in your browser. If you choose to create an account and save profiles or calculations, those saved records are stored securely for access across your devices.
Calculator data and shared links
Calculator settings and named setups may be saved in this browser's local storage so they remain available on your next visit. They are not synced across devices and can be lost if browser data is cleared or a private session ends. You can download a backup file and import it on another device. The file contains the setup names and entered values; keep it private if those details matter to you. Shared calculation links place selected inputs in the URL itself. Anyone who receives a shared URL can read those values, so do not put confidential information into a link you plan to share.
Analytics and consent
Google Analytics 4 is loaded only after you choose to accept analytics. If accepted, Google may process information such as device and browser characteristics, approximate location, page views and site interactions. ResinMetrics excludes shared calculator inputs and arbitrary URL parameters from analytics; a limited set of campaign attribution tags may be retained. Calculator field values are not sent.
If you reject analytics, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. Your choice is stored locally in your browser and can be changed at any time using the Cookie settings control in the footer.
Essential local storage
ResinMetrics uses browser storage for features such as remembering calculator settings and your cookie preference. If you sign in, authentication tokens are also stored on your device to keep you signed in. These functions do not require advertising cookies.
Optional account and cloud saves
Account sign-in uses your email address and a one-time email link. Supabase provides authentication and stores the printer profiles, resin profiles and calculations you explicitly save. These records can include names and the cost figures you enter. Other signed-in users cannot access your records. The general calculator continues to work without signing in and does not automatically upload its inputs.
Resend is used to deliver account sign-in emails. Supabase and Resend process the information required to provide these services, including your email address and email delivery information. Do not enter sensitive personal or customer information in profile names or calculation fields.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links contain affiliate identifiers. If you follow one, the retailer or affiliate network may use cookies or similar technologies to attribute a purchase and may provide ResinMetrics with aggregated referral or transaction information. Their privacy notices apply after you leave this site. See the affiliate disclosure for more detail.
Hosting and technical logs
The site is delivered using Cloudflare infrastructure. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may process basic request and security information—such as IP address, browser details and request timing—to deliver the site, prevent abuse and maintain reliability.
Retention and your choices
You can clear locally stored calculator settings and consent choices using your browser controls. Signed-in users can delete individual saved printers, resins and calculations in their account. Signing out does not delete cloud records. Analytics information, where consented to, is subject to Google's retention and deletion controls.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information. You can delete individual saved records or permanently delete your account and its cloud-saved printer, resin and calculation records from the account page. Calculator settings stored separately in your browser are not removed when you delete your account; you can clear them using your browser controls.
