A cheaper bottle is not always cheaper resin. Convert any bottle size and price into a cost per litre, per 100 mL and per model.
How to compare resin prices
Convert each bottle to the same unit before comparing it. A 500 mL bottle costing £15 is £30 per litre, while a 1 kg or 1 litre listing may require you to check whether the manufacturer states volume or mass. Resin density varies, so do not assume one kilogram always equals one litre.
Why failure rate changes the useful cost
A failed print still consumes resin. With a 10% failure rate, the expected resin cost of each successful model is higher than its raw material cost. Do supports count?
Yes. Use the total resin estimate from your slicer, including supports and raft, then divide by the number of finished models if you want a realistic per-model figure.
